Full www.TruePoker.eu Poker Review
True Poker is another one of those sites that flew under the radar for several years. You didn't hear about them until Black Friday hit and Americans were looking for a new poker site to play at.
However, given that they're on the Winning Poker Network, a network known for having sites that still accept American players, that's all changed now. True Poker's popularity is on the rise.
Playing Poker at True Poker for Real Money
The reason why True Poker is starting to become more and more popular is because they do accept US players. However, keep in mind that they do accept players from all states. States like Washington, Kentucky and Maryland are not allowed to play at True Poker for real money, or even play money.
For everyone else, you can get started by downloading their free software. True Poker only has a PC version of their software. They don't have a Mac download (see this page for US mac options) or instant play program, so if you have a Mac you'll need to use an emulator.
To fund your account you can use Instadebit, Neteller, person-to-person transactions, credit cards, Click2Pay and UseMyBank. There is a minimum deposit of $25 and $50 for Americans.
Withdrawals can be made using the same e-wallet service, prepaid debit card, checks or money transfer. You will receive 1 check per month for free, but there will be fees for subsequent checks starting at $60. The minimum payout is $50, and the maximum is $10,000, with the exact limits depending on the option you choose to use.
True Poker Bonuses and Rewards
As a new player at True Poker you're offered a match bonus on your first deposit. True Poker will match your deposit 100% up to $1,000.
The bonus is paid to you in increments of $1 for every 55 benefit points you earn. You earn 5.5 benefit points for every $1 you pay in fees. The best part is that True Poker uses the dealt method when calculating rake, so as long as you're dealt into a hand you'll be awarded points. The second best part is that there isn't an expiration date on the bonus. You can take as long as you need to complete it.
New players will also receive a seat into their $250 freeroll.
Other True Poker Promotions
The only other promotion worth talking about is True Poker's VIP program, Elite Benefits. The Elite Benefits program consists of 6 different levels. Each level will award the player with a points multiplier and cash bonuses. Here is an overview of the levels, the points required to get there and the bonuses for each one:
- Player: No points | 1x | $50
- Rounder: 750 points | 1.5x | $50 and $300 cash
- Grinder: 3000 points | 2x | $50, $300 and $600 cash
- Veteran: 7500 points | 2.5x | $50, $300 and $600 cash
- Legend: 100,000 yearly points | 3.5x | $50, $300, $600, $1,500 and $4,000 cash
- Icon: 1,000,000 yearly points | 5x | $50, $300, $600, $1,500, $4,000 and $10,000 cash
The higher up in levels you are, the further your points will go. In other words, things you buy with your points will be cheaper.
True Poker also gives bonus money for hitting certain point thresholds. For example, starting at 200k points players will earn between $2,600 and $9,200. For every million points (1, 2, 3, etc) players will earn about $20,000 in bonus money. There's a lot of money there for players willing to put the time in.
What Poker Games Can You Play at True Poker?
True Poker spreads holdem, omaha and stud games, as well as obscure games like 3-card poker and 32 card draw. Holdem is by far the favorite, though. Stakes start at .05/.10 and cap out at 50/10.
Available sit n go variations include heads-up, 6-max, multi-table heads-up, full ring and multi-table. Buy-ins run from $1 to $100.
True Poker has a lot of guaranteed tournaments too, guaranteeing over $100k in prizes each week. Their smallest guarantee is $1k and there biggest is $50k. The best value has to be The Beast, which is a $50k guarantee with a relatively small buy-in of $55. You don't have to buy-in directly to any of these either; you can satellite in or pay for your buy-in with points.
