While not exactly a household name, the Ongame Poker Network has built a reliable and loyal following over the decade plus that the company has been in operation. Focused primarily on the European poker market, the Ongame Poker Network is an attractive option for both new and experienced online poker players for reasons that we'll cover below in our guide to playing poker at the Ongame Network.
Most of those who are familiar with the Ongame Network probably encountered it through PokerRoom.com, Betfair or Red Kings Poker. Those three sites, along with just about two dozen others, make up the Ongame Poker Network (full list at the end of this article). The collection of sites shares the same software platform and also their player pools, meaning that playing at one room on the Ongame Poker Network is effectively the same as playing on another member room.
Players who favor Ongame tend to point to things like security and very soft games, along with generous promotions that reward higher-volume players. Those who are less a fan of the room cite the traffic numbers and the sometimes-shaky software platform that can make playing higher numbers of multiple tables challenging.

The key advantage of the Ongame network is the software support offered for multiple devices. There's obviously the downloadable client (available for PC and Mac poker players), but Ongame rooms also offer the potential to play poker for real money on your iPad, iPhone or Android phone / tablet. There is also a no download version of the Ongame software that gives an even wider audience of players access to the room. Another aspect of Ongame that will appeal to many players: Their internal wallet system is one of the simplest and more elegant in the industry - no more moving money back and forth across several products multiple times a day.
There is no fast-fold client currently available for Ongame Network rooms, and it's not clear when (if ever) the network intends to introduce a fast-fold component for their poker platform.
